Romantic hike through Rodltal valley. Relaxing moments at Rodl-Waldbad swimming pond.

The landscape around Gramastetten is formed and influenced by the Große Rodl river. Especially the romantic Rodltal valley invites you to take a relaxing walk amid unspoilt nature. On hot days the Rodl-Waldbad swimming pond is a perfect place to relax and to dive into absolutely new experiences.

This nature pond was extended in the Sixties by constructing a dam and a floodgate. Later a buffet, a child pool, changing cubicles and sanitary facilities were added. Today the swimming pond also features showers, a children´s playground and parking lots. The nature pond is freely accessible for everyone. Sorry, dogs are not allowed due to hygiene regulations.

Opening hours

The Buffet has been run by the "Friends of the Rodlbad" association since 2020 and is open during the bathing season (only in good weather) from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays from 11:00 to 19:00.
