Description: Since 1 March 2025, there has been a charge for parking in the Langbathsee area (up to the Jagerbachl hiking car park)
Vorderer Langbathsee is an integral nautre reserve. Crystal clear water, free natural beaches, breathtaking mountain scenery, free natural beaches and awesome hiking trails you can enjoy at the lake Langbathsee. The average sea temperatures in summer are 22 - 25 degrees.
Dogs are forbidden on the bathing places but walking around the lakes is permitted (with leash/ bite basket).
The lake "Hinterer Langbathsee" is an absolute nature reserve and jewel of nature. Walking time from the front part of the lake to the backside is about 45 minutes.
Chargeable parking times:
Daily from 08:00 - 18:00 Minimum charge € 1.00 / 60 min.; each additional hour or part thereof € 1.00 / 60 min.; daily rate € 8.00 There is no charge for stays of less than 30 minutes!
The parking of motorhomes or overnight stays in vehicles at the Vorderer Langbathsee is prohibited from 22:00 to 06:00 and will be penalised (there are two motorhome parking spaces in Ebensee). The pay machine nearby the toilets at Vorderer Langbathsee offers both cash and cashless payment. In addition to these payment options, it is also possible to pay with Easypark, but as there is no internet connection in this side valley, the ‘CameraPark’ menu must be activated beforehand.
Payment procedure:
-> The vehicle and its licence plate number are recorded by cameras on arrival
-> Guests park, spend the time according to their interests
-> At the end of your stay, enter the licence plate number at the parking machine, pay the calculated fee and everything is done -> If you have forgotten to pay the fee or if there is a technical problem with the machine, you can pay the outstanding fee online up to 48 hours later on the municipal homepage www.ebensee.at.
