From here, we will shortly reach the moorish valley of the valley, meandering through the meadows, with the latschenmoor and its own flora. Geologists explain this to us: "About seven thousand years ago there was a lake here."
There is also the interesting theme trail "2 million years in 2 hours" with various viewpoints and info huts.
From the idyllically situated Filzmoos-Almen (in the summer managed) at the foot of the Steilwand of the Stubwieswipfel now leads the route 218 northwards over pasture spots and forest up to a forest road. Follow this road for a short distance until you reach the road sign, then turn left and go up the forest and meadows to the Halssattel (the highest point of the entire cycle path, 1,600 m, excluding alpine variants). From here you can enjoy a nice view of the striking mountain profile of the Stubwieswipfel. From Halssattel hike westwards descending in the so-called Mausbachgraben. Afterwards it is mostly flat in the north direction and finally through a sparse larch forest slightly ascending, until you have reached the Etapenziel, the Dümlerhütte on the Stofferalm. This is located in a magnificent location.
