mountain hopping is the long-distance hiking event for mountain enthusiasts and those who want to become one! mountain hopping is a long-distance hiking event in Upper Austria that takes hiking enthusiasts on a three- or five-day tour through the picturesque Almtal valley. The aim of the event, a practical project of the Master's programme in Sport, Culture and Event Management at FH Kufstein Tirol, is to bring people closer to the beauty of nature, encourage them to overcome personal boundaries and promote community. Participants can choose between a more challenging five-day tour, which starts on 1 October 2024, and two three-day tours, which start on 3 October 2024.

The event ends with a joint finale on 5 October 2024 at Kasberg.

Registrations are possible from 1 July 2024 and follow the "first come - first serve" principle
