Drifting through the Enns Canyon

The Enns was an important means of transport for timber and used to be navigated by raftsmen with huge rafts made of logs. We no longer use rafts but special drifting boats to conquer this section of the once wild river.

It has since been tamed by man, but has lost none of its beauty, especially the rock canyon where the Enns is squeezed to a few metres is a real experience. A river picnic and plenty of places to swim and jump in round off this tour.
