Guided tour of the Gothic basilica

The Basilica of St Laurenz is one of the special sights of Enns. Built over the excavated foundations of a Roman palace, which can be visited as part of a guided tour, the church in its simple form is a remarkable Gothic testimony from around 1300. The interesting excavations and artefacts from Roman times and Christianity reveal the legacy of a history in which St Florian and St Severin also play a special role and which has continued to be written down through the ages.
