Welcome to the Maxlhaid guest house!
Still in the city and yet already in the countryside (4 km from the centre). The Maxlhaid guest house with its comfortable rooms is particularly suitable for drivers and motorcyclists: situated close to the motorway junction Wels-Ost of the A25 Linz-Passau and with secure and free parking. Comfortable and sophisticated restaurant, wine cellar and guests' garden surrounded by greenery for a relaxing and recharging break.
And transport history was written here. The hotel was initially a castle (1799)and was then a station for the Budweis-Gmunden horse railway from 1834 - 1859.
Train enthusiasts will enjoy the 'BAHNZEIT' museum with its horses. Tours in German, English and French.

buffet.
Seminar room, restaurant. In Summer guests can enjoy the guests' garden in the meadow.
