The Villa Bergzauber is a young family enterprise in Rossleithen in Upper Austria. Our house, with its large new Festsaal (or ballroom), has space for 35 hotel guests and up to 200 event guests, with plenty of parking spaces. Our 3-hectare parkland is the setting for a villa built in 1900, whose pleasant rooms and suites, heated saltwater pool, sauna and infra-red cabin and new ballroom, attract holiday guests, bridal couples and business organisations at all seasons of the year and from all over the world to this magical region. We offer each guest friendly and personalised service of the highest quality.
The generously proportioned rooms and suites, with a total of 35 beds, offer a breath-taking view of the surrounding mountains.
The picturesque setting of the Villa Bergzauber and its ballroom are perfectly suited to every taste and event. Both premises can be used at any season of the year.
The historic gentlemen's salon, the heart of the villa, has an elaborately carved wooden ceiling, wood-panelled walls throughout, oak parquet flooring, leaded bullseye windows, antique furniture and a tiled stove. The room has a floor area of over 60 square metres and can accommodate up to 40 people, depending on the seating arrangement. Including the adjacent White Salon, which is connected by a large double door, the Villa Bergzauber can seat and serve up to a maximum of 60 guests.
The new detached ballroom next to the villa has a floor area of over 300 square metres and space for up to 200 guests. It has a bar, a mobile stage and a dance floor. The room can be subdivided, so it is also suitable for smaller groups. A sound system is installed, which facilitators, trainers, DJs or bands are most welcome to use.
Our parkland and listed building offer a wide range of possibilities for activities such as team building events, group-work or breaks in an enchanting environment.
It goes without saying that we advise and take care of all our guests individually.

We, Markus and Christin Schmidleitner, are the first generation to run the newly renovated Villa Bergzauber. Since January 2016, our son Moritz has also been part of our small family. When we decided to buy the old villa and build a modern hotel, we were able to gain international experience in the hotel and catering industry, which we can now use and expand in our own business.
2016 was a very exciting year for us and not without reason, we say: "All good things come in 3: the birth of our son, the opening of the hotel and our wedding".
