Pfarrkirche Mörschwang

Mörschwang, Oberösterreich, Österreich
In the centre of the small village of Mörschwang stands the beautiful parish church, which was enlarged in 1523 in the late Gothic style and dedicated to Saint Margaritha. The baroque high altar dates back to 1702, while the current tabernacle was only added around 1800 and was made by Johann Ferdinand Schwanthaler. The two side altars are artistically more valuable. They date from 1670 and are attributed to Thomas Schwanthaler.
The lovingly designed floral decorations for church feast days and other occasions are an incentive for many to visit Mörschwang's parish church.
