Wild Mountain Ranch

The Wild Mountain Ranch is located east of Unterweißenbach, on a south-facing slope in a particularly quiet and sunny location, at an altitude of 750 metres above sea level. We are surrounded by an agriculturally characterised area with lots of forest and an extensive plateau. Our ranch is located in the centre of the Mühlviertler Alm, the largest riding region in Austria, with over 500 km of well-marked riding trails.

Our Western Ranch is situated in the heart of the Mühlviertler Alm in a particularly quiet location, where you can relax and unwind away from the noise, traffic and mass tourism. The hosts Gust and Lisi will spoil you with delicious food and cosy guest rooms in a family atmosphere. Fun barbecue evenings with campfire romance and music are the order of the day. Every day is filled with riding and horse experiences.

For the various courses, trainers are invited who teach professionally in their disciplines. Groundwork and horsemanship courses are our favourite events. Star rides, night rides and moonlight rides are particularly popular. In the winter months we focus on western riding.

Facilities at the riding centre
Our riding centre has 3 double comfort rooms and a hogan for 2 people. 6 Appaloosa western horses are available for our riding guests to ride out. The Appaloosa are easy to ride and sociable western horses that are highly valued by our guests.

Of course you can choose between breakfast and half board.
