Sonnenpark – Rehabilitation Centre for Mental Health

The Center for Psychosocial Health, Sonnenpark Bad Hall, offers a six-week inpatient stay. The location, with views of the surrounding mountains, provides optimal relaxation. Single rooms are available for 120 patients, including 6 wheelchair-accessible rooms. All patient rooms are equipped with a television.

The primary target group are man and women from all of Austria who have been affected by mental disorders in the carrying out of their work. Our programme is aimed at:

*People who are threatened by early retirement because of their psychiatric illnesses.

* People who suffer from acute psychiatric illnesses who in order to make a recovery need intensive aftercare treatment.

*People with chronic mental disorders, and for whom treatment in regular hospital for acute cases is not appropriate as they show increased psychological strain and there are limitations on their performance.

* People who despite a stay in hospital still have not stabilised enough (follow up treatment)

* People who have been sent by health insurers due to long or repeated sick leave (so called early recognition)
