The “Kaiserpanorama” is now located in the “Medienkulturhaus”, the “Media Culture House” in the building of the former “Alte Sparkasse”, the “Old Savings Bank”.

The original “Kaiserpanorama” of Wels was in use until 1954. Afterwards they stored it in the depot of the municipal museum. The “Verein Medienmuseum”, the “Media Museum Association”, in Vienna restored it and in September 2002 and presented it as one of the world's five panoramas opened to the public.
