.... in which parish priest Karl Lindemayr reports to the episcopal consistory about an annual service to be held in this chapel. It describes the reason for building the chapel in 1849:

It goes back to a vow made by the Puttinger family because two of their children, who were still small at the time, were miraculously saved.
They were sitting on the ground playing when two horses and plough that had run away ran at the children. There was a great risk that the children would be seriously injured or even killed. But the horses jumped over the children without touching them and the plough also jumped over them without hurting them.
