To commemorate the last battle of the 2nd Peasants' War on 20 November 1626, the local farmers erected this granite monument on the ridge of the redoubt in 1989.
On clear days, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Alpine foothills from this point with its impressive 300-kilometre panorama. The view stretches from the large Ötscher in the Styrian-Lower Austrian Limestone Alps to the Untersberg in Salzburger Land.
