On the federal road towards Tragwein you´ll find the tiny Hermitage amidst the scenic Josefstal Valley.
As legend has it, a hermit is said to have lived in this home long before the Valley was settled in the 18th century. The Valley derives its name from Count Wenzel Josef Thürheim. More probably the small complex was part of the Castle park grounds. Restoration works were carried out in 1980.
