Localbühne Freistadt

The Local-Bühne Freistadt is Upper Austria's oldest arthouse cinema still in existence. It also organises all types of contemporary art in a region where there are hardly any other opportunities to present innovative modern art. Our events include concerts - from folk music and jazz to world music and electronic music - cabaret, film, theatre and cabaret.

The Local Bühne has been a local cultural provider since 1984, with numerous festivals including the Heimatfilmfestival, Percussionfestival, summer cinema around Freistadt and much more.
