Small Monuments

There are many cultural artefacts like chapels, wayside shrines, crucifixes and murals on the sides of houses in and around Waldneukirchen.

The province of Upper Austria supports the renovations of these wooden and stone gems annually. The municipality has set the aim under the motto >> save our small monuments << to conserve and maintain these >>signposts<< from the past as a reminder for the future.
