River bathing at the bathing place in the wild and romantic Thurytal

You can reach the bathing area in the wild and romantic Thurytal valley via the FR4 hiking trail, past the revitalised smithy. You can park at the car park in Thurytal. Take the B38 from Freistadt in the direction of Sandl and turn left just before the end of the village, directly after the Pizzeria Venezia (address: Graben 9, 4240 Freistadt). After a few metres, there is an unpaved car park for hikers on the left-hand side. From there you start the short walk to the bathing area (approx. 20 minutes).



Note: The Mühlviertler Kernland Tourist Board accepts no liability for the use of the bathing area.

You can park free of charge at the Thurytal car park.

If you wish, our electric shuttle - the Flaps-E-Mobil - will take you from the old town to the Thurytal car park. A ride in one of our horse-drawn carriages is also possible. Book your journey to Thurytal in good time at 0794275700.
