Many years ago the then farmer of the Aschauergut drowned herself.
For this reason, the relatives erected the cross. Several times the house passed to new owners. All however, honored the cross and ensured ist preservation. The familiy Laireiter had it renewed in the late 90s. The cross was carved by Matthias Lettner (Schmiedlechner). Now it is intended to built a chapel there.Please get in touch for more information.
