Significant works by probably the most famous artist from Bad Leonfelden have been selected for the permanent exhibition.

Tickets for the Leopold Forstner exhibition can be purchased from the comfort of your own home. Simply go to the website of the municipality of Bad Leonfelden at www.bad-leonfelden.ooe.gv.at, click on the "Tickets Leopold Forstner Exhibition" button, fill in the relevant fields and print out your tickets. Admission is via the QR code printed on the ticket, which is easily scanned at the entrance.

Leopold Forstner
was born on 2 November 1878 in Bad Leonfelden, attended the local primary school and later the state craft school in Linz. After an apprenticeship at the Tyrolean Glass Painting and Mosaic Institute in Innsbruck, he attended the Imperial and Royal School of Arts and Crafts and studied in Munich. He worked as a draughtsman, painter, illustrator and graphic artist before founding the Vienna Mosaic Workshop in 1906. In the course of his career, he worked with well-known contemporary artists such as Gustav Klimt and Otto Wagner and is one of the most important representatives of Viennese Art Nouveau. He died on 5 November 1936 in Stockerau.
