The picturesque village of Waizenkirchen lies in Upper Austria´s northwest and is embedded in the scenic and wide open Aschach Valley.

The village sprawls along the banks of the River Aschach, that meanders across the Waizenkirchen Basin and flows through Kollerbichel Granite into Aschach Valley. The stunning and romantic scenery of the Valley lends itself to outstanding walking, hiking and cycling.
