Garsten

The lovely town of Garsten is located on the outskirts of Steyr. Garsten was granted market rights in 1958.

In summer you can splash about, have fun and relax in one of Austria’s largest and most beautiful outdoor leisure centers. Facilities: outdoor swimming pools, a 50-meter tower slide, a wide chute, a 3-meter diving platform, soccer fields, a beach volleyball field, a ping pong table and beautiful grass areas to sunbathe. The promenade along River Enns makes for great walking, cycling and inline skating.

Culture-minded guests will love the old convent, the demo mill in Mühlbachtal and the nail smithy in Dambachtal.
