From Weißenbach to Meisterebenalm and the Atterseeblick

This wonderful hike (hiking trail no.8) takes you to the Meisterebenalm at an altitude of 1209 meters. The Atterseeblick is only a five-minute walk from the Meisterebenalm - here you have a wonderful view of the entire Attersee. The hiking trail leads over narrow forest paths and partly up forest roads. A short section of the trail is narrow and once secured with a rope handrail. A big part of the route is in the forest or in a shady area - perfect even on hot summer days.

This hike to the Meisterebenalm begins at the Fachbergbrücke in Weißenbach and leads towards Burgau. At the first fork in the road, turn onto the path marked no.8. After a while you cross the Loidlbach and then keep to the left. Now follow the way uphill through a steep forest area to the Meisterebenalm, which unfortunately is not cultivated. You therefore take your own snacks and drinks with you.

From the Meisterebenalm to the Atterseeblick viewpoint:
The Atterseeblick viewpoint is just a five-minute walk from the Meisterbenalm. On nice days, this vantage point lives up to its name. Here you have a wonderful view over the entire Attersee. A bench with a table invites you to linger and you are also happy about an entry in the guest book.
