mountain pastures hike - Födinger Alm

Walk through the "Foedinger Alm" with the possibility to continue to "Gupf Alm" and "Schmaussinger Alm" (both are closed!).

You start at the "Kienesberg - Födinger Alm" car park. There you orientate yourself along the Laxenbach stream and hike along the forest road in the shade of the trees to the Hubertushütte. (1 hour). The Hubertus hut is open almost continuously from May to October and you can fortify yourself with regional delicacies.

The signposted and marked alpine hiking trail begins below the "Hubertus Hütte". First follow the road and then turn right into the forest. It goes downhill until you reach the Laxenbachstraße. Here you follow the signs past the "Laxenbach Holzstube" until you continue through the forest towards Gupf and Schmaußinger Alm (both closed). It is recommended that you take hiking poles with you, as the last section of the trail climbs steeply. Once you reach the forest road, turn right and hike back downhill to the Bachstraße. Turn right there and return to the starting point at the Kienesberg Alm car park.
