The circular route starts at the Maria Puchheim pilgrimage basilica and leads along a Way of the Cross.

Start at the Maria Puchheim pilgrimage basilica. After a short stretch on Gmundner Straße, turn right into Doktor-Riedlinger-Straße. After a few metres, a forest road branches off to the right.
After a short stretch on the forest road, you reach the edge of the forest, where there is a wayside cross with an image of the "Mother of Perpetual Help" and a bench. From there, the trail climbs steeply to the first station of the Way of the Cross along the path. At Way of the Cross station no. 9, you reach a considerable height above the slope to the Ager river. Here you have a beautiful view of the Höllengebirge and the Traunstein. After the last crossroads no. 14, you have almost reached the final height, from where you can see the Gruber family's "Moar z'Schleamading" estate at the bottom of the slope.
Further along the path, a clearing on the right-hand side of the path offers a beautiful view of Alt-Attnang, the town with the Spitzberg and Schwanenstadt. We come across a bench that invites us to take a rest. We then come to a fork in the path, where we keep left and soon turn right. We reach a forest road that now leads northwards. After a short distance, we reach another crossroads, from where we follow the track that turns off to the right.
We now head slightly downhill to the east on the forest road and after a short stretch we reach the Hubertus Chapel through the forest.
From there, we can already see the castle and the Maria Puchheim basilica with the district of Puchheim across a clearing.
After another short stretch, we return to the starting point.
