Beautiful hike through the alluvial forest and along the river.
Between the bridge over the Ager and the bank protection wall there is a metal gate that leads to a riverside path on the left bank of the Ager. This path stretches between the bank protection wall and the riverbank, where three benches invite you to take a rest. The path continues along the top of the bank protection dam. You reach the culvert that supplies the Weissenbach with water under the Ager. After this point, the path leads into the floodplain and runs about 10 to 20 metres from the left bank of the river. As the path continues, you come to a fork, our path continues in the right-hand lane. The Ager now turns downstream in an arc to the north as far as the Ager weir, from which the Mühlbach is diverted. There is also a long rapids at this weir. At the same time, you reach the marked nature trail, which you continue along. Along this nature trail, boards point out the special features of the floodplain.Direction information: Departure
