Beautiful circular route along two rivers.
From the leisure area car park, cross the "Blaues Eisen" footbridge and follow the Vöckla river downhill to the bridge. Go under the bridge and keep right towards Fasanenau. From there, use the Regau-Vöcklabruck neighbourhood bridge to reach the Schalchhamerau. Follow the Ager through the Schalchhamerau nature reserve to the bridge over the B145. A few steps up and you use the bridge to cross over to the other side of the river. A short stretch along Keplerstraße and a descent brings you back to the Ager riverside path and the highlight of this trail: a magnificent view of the confluence of the Vöckla and Ager rivers. From this point, the route continues through Schneiderau along the Vöckla to the B1 bridge. Use this bridge to change banks and walk upstream along the familiar route back to the starting point.Somewhat suitable for wheelchairs: Assistance is sometimes necessary.
