A very varied but also somewhat more challenging circular route leads us to the Naarn (bathing opportunities) and on to the Ruttenstein refuge (overnight stay and refreshments) and the Ruttenstein castle ruins. Guided tours of the castle are available for groups of 8 or more, daily by prior arrangement and every Friday from 6.00 pm. Return through the large wild boar enclosure of the Greinburg forestry administration.
