The hiking route was designed as a circular hiking trail and mostly leads over hilly forest and meadow paths. From the Rehberg summit viewing point (895 m) you can enjoy a marvellous view of the Mühlviertel and, with good visibility, as far as the Alps. The Gassi's Heuboden snack station (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) and the Piber inn (closed on Sundays and Mondays in the afternoon) offer refreshments. The "Falkenhofweg" is also signposted as a permanent IVV hiking trail. The start and finish with the stamp point are at Gasthaus Schwarz.
