The approx. 2.5 km long circular route begins in the center of Kirchdorf am Inn and leads in a westerly direction to the sports facility, where there is also a public playground with seating for adults. The hiking trail then runs along the Inn on a meadow path in an easterly direction to a viewing platform, which gives nature lovers interesting insights into the European nature reserve of the Lower Inn. The inn "Zum Vogelparadies" with a quiet guest garden, about 200 meters away, invites you to rest and strengthen yourself with local food. Along the Inn cycle path, the Inn hiking trail ends after about 1 km in Kirchdorf am Inn.

Experience the landscape and culture on the Inn
You can find out about the historical, cultural, geological features and traditions of this habitat from the "Life on the Inn" display boards, which are located at several selected locations along the way. The "Unterer Inn European Reserve" around Kirchdorf am Inn has a lot to offer. A total of 300 bird species are native here. Rare animals and plants, such as the beaver, can also be encountered here.
