Easily accessible route, which can also be partly covered by public transport.

The trail starts at the market square and leads along Kirchenweg past the castle along Hochfeldstraße to Gasthof Dickinger. This offers a cosy place to stop for a meal, a snack or a short coffee break (overnight accommodation, e-bike hire). From there, the route continues towards Ellnkam to Hub and via Oberbachloh to the Stockhammer chapel. A beautiful forest path leads to Gmunder Straße (B 144), which is crossed. The route continues through the forest to the Blauweiß sports ground in Stadl-Paura. Follow the signs along the sports field to the Paura church.
Paura church:
The origins of the church go back to Abbot Maximilian Pagl. It was built between 1714 and 1724 by Michael Prunner and is considered an outstanding work of religious mysticism. The ground plan of the Holy Trinity Church forms an equilateral triangle with three square towers, creating three façades that remain the same. The interior architecture is also intended to form a unity in its tripartite division: "Three on the outside, one on the inside." This mystery of the Trinity should speak to the faithful from every detail.
The way back:
If you don't want to walk back the same way, you can take the bus from Stadl-Paura back to the market square in Bad Wimsbach or continue to Stadl-Paura railway station. From there, hikers can take the Stern&Hafferl railway back to Bad Wimsbach.
For the particularly sporty, it is also possible to join hiking trail no. 10 "An der Traunleiten" at the Blauweiß football pitch on the way back. (8 km)
