For the nature-oriented pleasure cross-country skier, the rather easy 7.4 km Kriemoos trail is a special experience at 1,000 metres.
Starting from the lower park area at the car park of the Lesehotel, on the so-called Rehmöser Forststraße, you glide comfortably along the sunny 2.5 km red-marked trail.
From here, you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of our World Heritage Region
After the junction "Murenschleife - yellow markings", you will reach a moderately steep but easy descent after another 0.5 km.
Once you have mastered this descent, the 2 km long flat section through the unmistakable Kriemoos and "in der Gschwandt" beckons.
Now enjoy the gigantic view of the majestic Dachstein and the surrounding mountains of our World Heritage region.
After a moderately steep ascent of approx. 0.5 km, you are back on the 2 km, slightly hilly return route to the park area.
