Kefermarkter cycle tour no. 917

Enjoy the world of hills on the Kefermarkter Runde. The ideal starting point is the car park at the sports field, as there are also parking facilities here.

Drive to the Gratzlbrücke bridge and then turn right towards Neumarkt. After approx. 1.5 km on Lasberger Straße, turn right towards Pernau. Here you follow the road to Lest for approx. 3.5 km with a slight ascent. Here you have a marvellous view of Kefermarkt and Weinberg Castle. When you reach the B125, please take care when crossing the road. To avoid having to ride on the main road, ride straight ahead on the gravel road and after 50 metres turn left again until you reach the priority sign. Turn right here onto the goods road on Marterlweg. Continue along the S10 until you come to a crossroads, turn right here and you will see a Jesusmarterl on the left in the distance. Follow the road for approx. 2.5 km until you reach guesthouse Mader, where you can take a break. Afterwards, take care when crossing the country road 125 straight ahead in the direction of Kefermarkt. Then follow the road on the L1474 for approx. 4.5 km back to Kefermarkt. Here, too, you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of Kefermarkt on the descent. Approximately 400 m before the railway crossing, turn right towards the outdoor pool. At the fork, turn left and immediately right again to return to the car park at the sports field.
