How to get to the Almtal (to St. Konrad):

We recommend travelling by public transport!

By train: via Gmunden station (line 170) to Attnang Puchheim to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or with the Almtalbahn (153) from Wels to Scharnstein or Viechtwang stop.
Continue by bus or the Salzkammergut shuttle service

by bus: OÖVV bus line 533 Gmunden - Scharntein - Grünau - Almsee; stop St. Konrad Dürnberg

with the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 52 from Laakirchen or Kirchham to the St. Konrad Imbisstube stop, please call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on telephone number +43 50-422 422 and order.

By bike:
From Gmunden (connection to the R4 Traunradweg and R2 Salzkammergut Radweg) or from Scharnstein (connection to the R 11 Almtalradweg) on the Traunviertel Tour, 2nd stage.

by car:
West motorway A1: From Vienna or Salzburg - exit Laakirchen West
Inntal motorway A8 Passau - Wels - Voralpenkreuz A9 - exit Laakirchen West
- Laakirchen - eastern bypass Gmunden B120 in the direction of - Scharnstein - to the car park at the bathing lake St. Konrad
