Paths covering:
The route runs along the floodplain landscape of the Dürren Ager and is largely free of motorised traffic.
At the bridge you can choose between two variants:
The longer route leads left along the Dürren Ager to Reichenthalheim. At the Fally sawmill, turn right and follow the signs along the slightly ascending meadow path to Brandham and on to Engljähring.
For the shorter variant, turn right at the Aumühle mill and walk directly to Engljähring,
continue towards Jedlham and along the Seewalchen main road back to the starting point.
The short route is about 3 km shorter than the long one.
By car:
From Salzburg via motorway A1 – Exit St. Georgen im Attergau – right on the Attergaustraße
(L540) to the center.
From Vienna/Linz via motorway A1 – Exit St. Georgen im Attergau – right on the
Attergaustraße (L540) to the center.
From Bad Ischl – Weißenbachtal (B153) – follow B152 to Unterach and then B151 to
Attersee than left to the Attergaustraße (L540) to St. Georgen.
By train:
From Salzburg or Linz/Vienna with „Austrian Federal Railways“ or „Westbahn“ to Attnang
Puchheim - via regional train to Vöcklamarkt and St. Georgen
By plane:
Arrival to Airport Salzburg or Linz – with the car/bus or train to St. Georgen im Attergau.
