Orte des Glaubens: Panoramawanderung am Irrsberg

A shorter tour with great views.

From the Panoramahotel Leidingerhof we enjoy the marvellous view along the path downhill towards Mondsee. At the viewing point, we turn right onto the hiking trail towards Ölgraben, which leads past the Schmiedlechner chapel (item 159) along a meadow path to the Winkler joinery. There is a short detour to the Gassen chapel (pos. 212). Now it's uphill towards Irrsberg and on to Reitingergut. The way back again offers a magnificent view of the Mondseeland. We turn right to the Irrsberger chapel (item 222) and the Irrsberger cross (item 223). From there we return to the ascent road. Just before the Nußbaumer "Marterl" (Pos.220) we turn left and walk uphill to the Panoramahotel Leidingerhof.
