Tarsdorfer Brotweg
In our culture, bread often symbolises life. When people had a sufficient supply of bread, peace prevailed. The bread oven on the village square in Tarsdorf is both a monument to everyday culture and the centrepiece of the bread trail. Based on an idea by the artist Hans Kumpfmüller, 52 bread sliders were designed by the inhabitants of Tarsdorf and placed along a 5.7 km long path as a LandART installation. Together with 24 themed panels about grain, nutrition, work, spirituality and peace, they are intended to encourage people to think about "our daily bread".Suitable for wheelchairs: Not all of the legally stipulated ÖNORM are complied with.
