EXPERIENCE THE CULTURAL LANDSCAPE WITH FASCINATING ANIMALS

We familiarize ourselves with the fascinating world of llamas and set off as a caravan. Together we will lead our meek companions through the typical, wonderful meadows and forests of Mühlviertel. We discover a special feature of the cultural landscape, "the European watershed" in Bad Leonfelden and learn interesting facts about it.

The guided hike accompanied by llamas takes place as part of NATURSCHAUSPIEL (natural spectacle is an initiative of the nature conservation department of the state of Upper Austria in cooperation with Upper Austrian Tourism and the Upper Austrian State Museum).
As part of the natural spectacle, 100 carefully selected tours, each with a reference to a nature reserve or a special feature of the cultural landscape, are offered throughout Upper Austria.

The main purpose of the llama hike is to meet and experience these fascinating animals in harmony with nature!

* Target group:
The nature education program "Llama Expedition through the Mühlviertel" is gladly booked across all age and professional groups, for example for club outings, company events, company outings, class / student outings, family outings, polteries, birthday parties or a surprise outing, ...
A distance of approx. 4.5 km is covered during the hike (easy walkable path). It is very important that the participants are "experienced hikers", because the llama hike together should be fun and a special experience. Regarding the condition and endurance, it is at the discretion of each individual or adult to correctly assess this.

* Events:
Until the end of October there are fixed dates on the weekends (Saturday: 2 p.m. - 5 p.m .; Sunday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.) and on public holidays (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.) Individuals and groups can register, these with a number of min. 7 people and max. 20 people are limited (therefore the number of participants can vary greatly). If the number of participants is 7 or more, it is possible to make an appointment for an exclusive tour for a closed group. This variant is very popular if the tour is to be private.
