The route around Lake Wolfgangsee is not only famous for its international running race, it is also very popular with cyclists. The shore-line cycle path, with its constant view of the lake’s crystal-clear water and the ride through the villages of St. Wolfgang, St. Gilgen and Strobl round off this lovely tour.

Starting in St. Wolfgang, you follow the lake shore to the hamlet of Ried. Here, board the ferry boat to Fürberg. Attention: Crossing the Falkenstein by bike is not possible! Continue on the route to the center of the village of St. Gilgen. From St. Gilgen, "the Salzkammergut Cyrcle Path" follows the lakshore, talking you through the hamlet of Abersee to the village of Strobl and eventually back to the starting point in St. Wolfgang.
