The “Salzkammergut Cycle Path” leads from St. Gilgen over the Scharfling in the direction of Sankt Lorenz. From Sankt Lorenz, continue to the villages Thalgau and Eugendorf. From here, the route follows the former railway line to the River Salzach. Continue along the river to the city center of Salzburg. Return via the Gaisberg Mountain to the village of Hof. Follow the “Salzkammergut Cycle Path” through Fuschl and back to the starting point in St. Gilgen.On the main road No. 158 turn off to St. Gilgen. You reach the centre after a few meters. Parking places are located near the starting point of your tour.
