The Schlierwand circular hiking trail starts at the leisure park site. Via Dörflstraße you reach the northern Vöcklauferweg via a turnstile. This leads past the Vöcklawehr dam along a beaten track to the steepest ascent of the circular trail. Keep to the right on the following flatter section to reach the highest point of the Schlierwand.
Downhill towards Altwartenburg, you reach a road that leads to the Wartenburg bridge. Cross the bridge and immediately turn left to reach the Lippeweg.
Continuing in the direction of Lippeweg, the railway subway allows you to change to the path south of the western railway. From there you have a marvellous view of the motherhouse of the Franciscan nuns of Vöcklabruck. At the end of the path, you reach the Europahof bridge and find your way back to the starting point.
