One of the most beautiful ski tours in the Salzkammergut with fantastic panoramas and a great descent.

From the Tiefbrunnau car park at the end of the asphalt road, turn right across the stream and continue across a meadow to the Kühleitenhütte, then continue on a forest road to the Mehlsackalm. Continue south-east on the ridge to the Pillstein. After a short descent and a flat stretch you reach the ridge on the 12er Horn. The descent runs over a northern slope to the Sausteigalm, from where you can return to the Tiefbrunnau car park via a forest road.

During the winter months, if there is enough snow.
