Über den Brandsteig auf den Gahberg und über den Miglberg und das Horn zurück

An entertaining hike up two mountains with panoramic views and the opportunity to stop off at the Schöberingerhof inn on the Miglberg

You start the hike at the car park next to the volunteer fire brigade/musician's home  and follow the main road for approx. 450 m along the pavement  to the Hemesberger nursery. Here you turn right into Plötzingerweg and follow the signs via Brandsteig to the Gahberg.
Continue via the beautiful Brandsteig steeply up to the Brand estate - towards the sun further towards Gahberg - in between there are many beautiful places to linger. Once at the top of the Gahberg, follow the almost flat road to the observatory - here you can make a detour behind the Gahberg chapel to the Weyregger recreational meadow and the cradle loungers - here you have a wonderful mountain panorama with a view of Lake Attersee.
Continue along the Gahbergstraße to Schaffling - through the houses and over the alpine pastures and Miglberg  to the Schöberingerhof inn  - continue a short distance down the road past the houses to the turn-off  - over the Horn to Weyregg - here the route begins beautifully over the alpine meadows and then later over the beautiful beech forest down the path back to the Bachstraße - here you have another opportunity at the Bachtaverne. From here, take the pavement along the road back to the starting point or turn left up the Stegbühel=169 steps and then through the church village back to the car park.
