Following in the footsteps of the salt trade, this route leads to the former Bavarian salt trading metropolises along the Salzach. These are not only characterised by their mighty castles, but also by the typical Inn-Salzach architectural style, which still characterises the historic town centres of Burghausen and Tittmoning today. The route runs for almost 50 kilometres through the discovery district. The route then continues to Bad Reichenhall.
