Description:
The highlight of this hike in a unique landscape is the natural wonder of the Schlögen Danube Loop. Marsbach Castle, Haichenbach ruins (Kerschbaumer Castle) with a viewing platform right on the ridge above Schlögen Loop and wonderful views of the Danube time and again (cul-de-sac paths to “Brodlblick”) make this hiking trail a wonderful experience. In Freizell barge harbour you have the chance to see the most scenic sections of Danube valley from a barge. - Marking: 88
