Start: Schafbergbahn Station

Through the Schafbergbahnhofstraße up to the Sternallee, then left over the railroad crossing, past the Hotel Försterhof and soon after right on the access road in the direction of Jausenstation Aschinger  approx. 700 m up until the marked Rieder Steig (trail No. 21) begins on the left. Follow this trail, which is flat at first, but later climbs up to the junction with the pilgrims path. Now turn left down to the shore of the Lake Wolfgangsee and along the shore back to St. Wolfgang.
Refreshment stops: Jausenstation Aschinger, Leopoldhof inn, Gasthaus Falkenstein inn.
