We see this tour as an ideal introduction to the motorbike tours on offer in the Discovery Quarter. It is just over 100 kilometres long and offers plenty to discover: culture, curves, culinary delights - and above all, you will discover that our tour suggestions meet all the demands and expectations of the ambitious biker!

When it comes to motorbikes in our region, it's clear that our heart beats for KTM and we are very happy to cooperate with this excellent local motorbike manufacturer as far as possible. We have therefore chosen the fantastic and centrally located KTM MOTOHALL as the starting and finishing point for every tour suggestion.
From here, we start in the direction of Munderfing, the second home of KTM, where the entire racing department is based. In this case, however, we leave it to the right and turn into the winding road in the town centre towards Perwang am Grabensee. We continue along the foot of the Haunsberg to Nußdorf and Oberndorf. There we can take a short detour to the Silent Night Chapel and get a taste of the Christmas spirit.
However, we prefer to get our fill of festive feelings on the rest of the journey to Wildshut. There, the Stieglgut is a splendid location for a short stop to catch our breath and savour some food.
The route continues quickly via Ostermiething and St. Radegund before we reach Duttendorf through the Weilhartforst forest. There, a short stop at the viewpoint is a must - with or without a stop at the Salzachstüberl beer garden. From here, there is a unique view of the world's longest castle complex at 1,051 metres, which towers over the historic old town of the Bavarian town of Burghausen on the other side of the border river Salzach.
The rest of the route takes us via Schwand, Pischelsdorf and Helpfau-Uttendorf on winding roads with little traffic into the foothills of the Kobernaußerwald and finally back to the Motohall.
