On this charming hike, we pass the small church in Pfaffing, which is one of the oldest places of worship in the Vöcklabruck district. From Ziegelhaid in the direction of Außerreith, we enjoy a wonderful "view of the countryside"

.

We start the hiking tour at the Vöcklamarkt municipal office and walk in a northerly direction for a short while. Immediately after the tobacconist's, we turn into Herrnwiesweg and walk eastwards through the village. After crossing the Pfaffinger Bezirksstraße, we can already see the covered wooden footbridge and cross over to the other side of the Vöckla.
From here, we walk through a meadow landscape towards Aierzelten and reach a fork in the path after a few hundred metres. Here we keep left and reach the junction towards Weixlbaum. The path now climbs a little steeper uphill to the Weixbaum viewing point. Here we can enjoy the wonderful view of Vöcklamarkt and the Attergau region.

Now we continue to the right towards Nindorf. At the end of the village we reach the Pfaffinger Bezirksstraße, where we keep right. After about 150 metres along the district road (please take care!), we turn left and arrive at the beautiful little church in Pfaffing.
The little church in Pfaffing is one of the oldest places of worship in the district of Vöcklabruck. The Romanesque masonry of the church dates back to the period between 1050 and 1150. During the Gothic period in the 15th century, the church was extended to the west. In 1631, which is cited in reference books as the year of construction, the exterior of the church was given a new, baroque plaster finish.

In the immediate vicinity of the church and the magnificent vicarage, we see the new village inn "Die Schmiede", where we can enjoy a bite to eat.

From here, we now continue westwards and reach the village of Ziegelhaid. Here we have another option for a refreshment stop, namely the "Zieglstub'n" snack bar.

At the end of the elongated village of Ziegelhaid, we reach a crossroads where we turn right towards the forest. Before the forest is the next fork in the path. Now we keep left and walk towards the village of Außerreith. On this section of the trail, we enjoy a wonderful "view of the countryside"

In the middle of the village of Außerreith, we then branch off to the right towards Sieberer. Initially, the route is slightly downhill. The small village of Sieberer is just around the corner, but offers another opportunity for a short break (Gasthaus Zeller - not a rest day!). The route now leads into the forest. Shortly after the end of the forest, we reach the village of Sallach on the slightly ascending path. Here we have the option of shortening the hike a little by turning left down to Fornach. However, we continue straight on and reach Röth and then Fachberg.

The path continues from Fachberg towards Feichtenberg, where the "Fornach viewing platform" offers a clear view of all the mountains to the south. Truly a panorama to savour!
Now we walk left down the road to Fornach. Above the Wirtshaus Lohninger , the hiking route continues eastwards to Forsterreith.

On arrival in the village of Forsterreith, we walk down the road to the right. Soon, where there is a small forest on the right, we pass a bench that invites us to linger for a while. We continue down the road until we reach the signpost pointing us to the old church path branching off to the left. On this path, now slightly uphill again, we walk through a beautiful meadow landscape up to Kropfling.

In Kropfling, we immediately turn left towards Teicht in the area of the first houses. There is now a small snack bar here "S'Vitzal im Alpaka-Garten"

Now it is no longer difficult to find the way back to the starting point of this circular hike. We leave Teicht in a south-easterly direction and reach the Vöcklamarkter Kalvarienberg and subsequently the centre of the market town of Vöcklamarkt.
