The Irrseeweg follows its own signposting around the nature-protected Irrsee lake. The route leads northwards to the so-called Nordmoor. A viewing and observation point has been set up there with lots of information about the "moor" habitat. You return along the western shore on traffic-calmed roads to the southern point of the Irrsee. The "Phylotaxis" artwork is another special viewing point.
Tip: listen carefully - the heraldic bird of the municipality of Oberhofen am Irrsee, the rare curlew, breeds around the Irrsee. Its typical trilling has earned it the nickname "moor flute".
