Right after the start in Schwanenstadt, the first nature experience awaits with the quarry ponds in Redlham, before (always along the R6 Römerweg) Attnang-Puchheim (St Martin's Church with a view over the town) and Vöcklabruck, the next small towns, tempt you to make a stop.
Not far from the leisure park in the district capital Vöcklabruck, follow the slightly ascending Route 251 northwards towards Hohenzell. Before Ungenach, a narrow section of the main road requires increased caution.
In Ainwalding, change to route 256 to the east, after a few kilometres you can take a detour to the Pettenfirsthütte for a break and a view of the Alps.
Continue along numerous beautiful vantage points to Atzbach with its striking church tower, then change to cycle route 252 southwards towards Schwanenstadt, where numerous refreshment stops on the town square provide refreshment and relaxation at the end of the tour.
